Ready to play? Follow these simple steps to get started and care for your handheld. Menu names may vary depending on your model and software.
Turn On
- 1Press and hold POWER until your unit starts. Allow the game menu to finish loading.
Play a Game
- 1Use the D-pad to browse systems and games. Follow the button guide at the bottom of the screen to select a game or go back.
Exit a Game
- 1Hold SELECT, then press START twice while continuing to hold SELECT. This returns you to the game menu.
Volume & Settings
- 1Use the + / - volume controls to adjust the sound. To open settings, press START from the main game/system menu.
Shut Down Completely
- 1Exit your game and return to the main menu.
- 2Press START.
- 3Choose QUIT or open the power/options menu.
- 4Select SHUTDOWN and confirm.
- 5Wait for the screen and power light to turn off before storing your unit.
A dark screen does not always mean your unit is off. Always use the menu shutdown option before putting it away.
Charge Your Unit
- 1Use the USB-C charging port marked DC, not the OTG port. Connect the supplied charging cable to a compatible 5V USB power source.
If a Game Freezes
- 1First, try the exit combination: hold SELECT and press START twice while continuing to hold SELECT.
- 2If the unit does not respond, press RESET to restart it. Unsaved progress may be lost.
